Lucas Oakeley is an author and journalist. He has written for a range of publications including – but not limited to – GQ, Vogue, National Geographic, The Economist, Esquire and Vice. He was shortlisted as a finalist for the Guild of Food Writers’ Food Writing award in 2020. His debut novel, Nearly Departed, will be out in August 2025.
