Tom Aikens

Tom Aikens is one of the UK’s best known and influential chefs. Having worked with the likes of Pierre Koffman, and Joël Robuchon in Paris, at the age of just 26, his French-inspired cooking helped London’s Pied à Terre restaurant win two Michelin stars. He then went on to open his own, eponymous restaurant, which also won two stars, before most recently opening Muse in a covetable Georgian townhouse in Belgravia. It was awarded a star by the Michelin Guide in 2021, barely a year after opening. According to the Guide: “Each well-judged and sophisticated dish relates to something memorable from Tom's past, whether that was climbing a tree or enjoying the last barbecue of summer.”

Forno

Forno is an Italian bakery, pastificio and deli from the team behind the restaurant Ombra. Famous for delicious creations like their cream-filled maritozzi buns and colomba pasquale, the all-day Forno, headed up by chef Baldo Pellegrini, also offers focaccia sandwiches and soups at lunchtimes, a stocked deli counter with fresh pastas, bread, cold cuts and wine, amongst other things, and on Friday evenings, turns into a listening bar serving Roman pizza and natural wines. Aside from the flagship Hackney location, there are also further Fornos in Leytonstone and Mile End.
