Andrew Wong
Andrew Wong is an award-winning chef, anthropologist and cultural observer. British-born of Chinese heritage, he opened A. Wong in London in 2012 with his wife Nathalie – the ‘A’ paying homage to his parents Albert and Annie, whose Cantonese restaurant Kym’s sat where A. Wong resides. The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2017. In 2021 it was awarded a second Michelin star, the first Chinese restaurant outside Asia to achieve the honour. At A. Wong, Wong celebrates China's rich culinary history, with dim sum at lunch and a tasting menu in the evening showcasing the length and breadth of the country’s gastronomy.
