Merlin Labron-Johnson
A quintessential chef-grower, Merlin Labron-Johnson opened Osip in the village of Bruton, Somerset in 2019 after leaving London and huge success at Portland (which he helped win a Michelin star aged just 24), in search of greater culinary freedom. Osip is now one of the UK’s best and most talked about Michelin-starred restaurants. Raised in nearby Devon, Labron-Johnson began his culinary education in the UK, but it was overseas at the likes of In de Wulf in Belgium where he learned his chops.
